Hi.. I’m glad you’re here!

What is happening?!

What is happening?!

Heyy yall!!

We are almost halfway through April and whewwwwwww chileeeee!! So much has happened since my last post. So much like a PANDEMIC! Right?! Yes I know.

I hope you are all in good health and trying to maintain your peace. Continue to do things smart and safely! I thought I would pop in to talk about how quickly things can change. As quickly as the new year came, there was a shift just as fast. We all have gotten accustomed to the “new norm” and it may be a little (okay maybe a lot) unsettling for you. So many things prior to this shift were done routinely, and by “our” order. We become so used to our norms sometimes when a shift takes place it feels like the floor has disappeared from underneath our planted feet.

But just as your feet were planted in your every day routine, I want to challenge you to plant your feet in your faith. Sometimes we like to prepare ourselves for the next thing. And when we do that we are putting more thought into how things should be and less faith in how things might actually turn out and leaving it in Gods hands. God has a funny way of showing us that our timing is not in tune with his. He has stripped us from our everyday norms and have made a lot of us, including me, very very uncomfortable. And this change is causing a shift in your thoughts causing you to lean more on your faith. A pandemic taught me that. Because right now, in this very moment, we have absolutely no control on things happening on the surface. But my friends, we have endless control on what we believe will come from this, thoughts, and faith that will carry us through this trying time.

So I challenge you to lean not on your own understanding, trust the Lord with all of your heart, and have continued everlasting faith that…we will be okay.

Yours Purely
