Werk Space

Do you ever has this sudden urge to tap out of reality and tap into your creativeness self. I think we all go through this. But there are soooooooooo many distractions! Our phones being the number one thing! We have this mini computer that does absolutely everything you need it to and then boom I find myself on social media literally every other second. I will never be able to commit to a hobby or completely dismiss myself from the world for at least an hour or so if I keep this pace.

So I decided to turn one of the rooms in my house into an office. Yes, I have a handy dandy laptop that is perfectly capable of plopping alongside me on the coach, but I realized I needed a space of comfort that would allow me to “werk”.

I am such a stickler when it comes to creative spaces and how certain color schemes and vibes set the tone for how your brain begins to operate freely. Bright colors lead to bright ideas. I needed to set a tone that would allow me to focus with minimal distractions.

Here you will see the simplicity behind these hues. I pieced together this perfect space with adding a touch of gold, gray, and white to this room. I also added a vision board, a world map decal and some cute little desk items I picked up from Target or Home Goods. Simple projects on a budget.
